Interim test
In the third phase of your driving lessons you take an interim test. This test is essentially a practical exam with the CBR. A test with an examiner gives a good idea of whether you are ready for the exam or still need some extra lessons.
The detailed feedback afterwards lets you practise and repeat the critical points during your final lessons.

What does an interim test look like?
An interim test covers all components you can expect in the regular practical exam and lasts just as long. Knowing how the real exam works often reduces nerves and increases your chance of passing. It is not compulsory, but we strongly recommend it.
Exemption for special manoeuvres
If you correctly perform the special manoeuvres during the interim test, you receive an exemption for one practical exam. This may cover a parking or turning assignment, including the related check questions.

Taking the interim test makes you feel much more confident for the actual practical exam. The CBR advises taking it after completing roughly 70 percent of your training.
